Coldplay teamed up with Queen Bey herself, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, and Mark Ronson to deliver what many are calling one of the best Super Bowl halftime performance ever at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, CA.
Whatever excitement the game was lacking – personally, I thought it was quite a snoozer – the artists more than made up for with colorful production, dazzling choreography, and spectacular showmanship.
Coldplay performed a medley of hits including Viva la Vida, Clocks, and their new single Adventure of a Lifetime. Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson came in with their ubiquitous 2015 hit Uptown Funk. Beyonce showed up with her Beyhive to perform her controversial new song Formation, which she debuted online only 24 hours earlier.
